REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS · TECHNICAL REPORTS

From fault codes to an action plan.

Americopp analyzes scanner-generated evidence to separate symptoms, consequences and probable causes before tests or component replacement are recommended.

Americopp method
  1. Analyze the complete report.
  2. Correlate modules and systems.
  3. Interpret live data when applicable.
  4. Define confirmation tests.
  5. Deliver an ordered technical action plan.

Two technical report options.

The Basic Report uses the complete scanner PDF. The Advanced Report adds scanner-generated live-data recordings and an expanded technical questionnaire.

1. Customer and vehicle information

2. Location and environmental conditions

For the Advanced Report these fields are mandatory because altitude, barometric pressure, air density and ambient temperature affect MAP/BARO, load and boost interpretation.

Why we ask: a normal MAP/BARO reading at high altitude must not be judged against sea-level expectations.

3. Fuel and modifications

4. Symptom and fault conditions

5. Previous repairs and diagnostic equipment

6. Diagnostic files

Americopp will verify payment before the analysis begins.
Technical validation: if Advanced Report material is insufficient or was not generated by the scanner, analysis does not begin. Americopp will specify what new recording is required.

After submission you will receive a case number. Uploaded files will be associated with that case.

What the customer receives

Executive summary, DTC analysis, datalog interpretation, system correlation, probable causes ranked by evidence, confirmation tests, action plan, priorities, risks, post-repair validation criteria and technical conclusion.

Remote analysis does not replace physical testing when required. The report may call for pressure and flow measurement, oscilloscope testing, smoke testing, compression, leak-down, electrical measurements or other verification.
